KIMBAP!

Kimbap is basically Korean sushi except they rarely put raw seafood in their kimbap. Once I finally get my hands on the ingredients we’re going to make a delicious regular style kimbap which traditionally include strips of egg, ham/spam, carrots, cucumber, and pickled radish wrapped in rice and seaweed skin.
SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS!

We’re going to get our hands on some Barilla Spaghetti, ground beef, cheese and seasoning to make some homemade meatballs! Why? Because we have 3 jars of spaghetti sauce asking to be used.
BANH MI!

Everytime I think of Banh Mi when I’m hungry my salivary glands go wild and I’m drooling uncontrollably. It’s REALLY good. The influence of French cuisine in Vietnamese food is really undeniable in that crusty delicious baguette that is offset by the juicy fatty meat and the crisp, cool, sweet pickled vegetables. Truly, an amazing combination. Best of all, if you’re ever in a Vietnamese area these huge sanwhiches usually only set you back $3 or so.
My greatest culinary weakness has been in baking bread, either the oven isn’t hot enough or I don’t have the patience to let the dough rise 5 times or I don’t knead it enough. My brother has challenged my bread baking skills and has declared he will be victorious against me and become the next…CHEF OF THE HOUSE. We’ll see about that. But I’m hoping he makes a mean French Baguette so we can go on our merry way and make delicious Banh Mi.
ORANGE POPPYSEED SUGAR BISCUITS

Though I haven’t tried it, it looks pretty darn good. I want to try to make it and then dip one side with dark chocolate. SCRUMPDIDILIUMPTIOUS!
